Portfolio: Renovations: Xiguacan 404

This full renovation of the two bedroom, two bathroom condominum took place during late 2007, early 2008. The couple had spent the past six years travelling around the world on thier sail boat and Saavedra, inspired by their stories, was able to enhance the classical mexican structural design with a modern approach. The exotic tales from abroad motivated Saavedra to incorporate unique materials such as bamboo, onyx, and soapstone. The clients had specific requests for the kitchen and guest areas that were met with style and purpose. The use of high end appliances were incorporated with ease and the custom furniture enables the transformation of day to day living spaces into accomodations for visiting guests.
